Some people like to take retropie to friends house, and can't always have everything on a local network drive. Heck, people could have every game they want in their library. This methodology would make things SOOOO convenient for people who can't afford 500GB microSD cards. If microSD card becomes full, the oldest played ROMs gets deleted to make room for the new one.ROM file selected to play is downloaded if not already on the microSD.Artwork and everything are set because everything is already scraped. The entire library is displayed on emulationstation.Rom library gets copied over to G-Drive.Software scrapes it on the computer and that data gets transferred to RPi (I've used skyscraper on laptop to make scraping faster before).
Is there a way to store all my libraries on Google drive, and to be able to download the games as they are needed? I wouldn't mind scraping/indexing the games and storing the xml files and artwork on the microSD card.
